Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Prague, Czech Republic

Check into your hotel and spend the afternoon exploring Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to attractions such as the Prague Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge.
In the evening, head to a traditional Czech restaurant for dinner and sample local dishes such as goulash and dumplings

Day 2Prague

Spend the day exploring Prague Castle, one of the largest castle complexes in the world. The castle includes St. Vitus Cathedral, medieval palaces, and beautiful gardens.In the evening, visit a local pub or beer garden to try some of Czech Republic’s famous beers.

Day 3Vienna, Austria

Take a morning train from Prague to Vienna, which should take around four hours.
Spend the day exploring Vienna’s many attractions, such as the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the Schönbrunn Palace, and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. In the evening, attend a classical music concert or visit a traditional Viennese coffeehouse.

Day 4Budapest, Hungary

Take an early morning train from Vienna to Budapest, which should take around three hours.
Spend the day exploring Budapest, which is split into two parts by the Danube River. Visit Buda Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion, and the Hungarian Parliament Building. In the evening, take a sunset river cruise on the Danube to see the city lit up at night.

Day 5Budapest

Spend the day relaxing in the famous thermal baths of Budapest, such as the Gellért Baths or the Széchenyi Baths. In the evening, head to a ruin pub for drinks and live music.

Day 6Krakow, Poland

Take a morning flight from Budapest to Krakow, which should take around two hours.
Spend the afternoon exploring Krakow’s Old Town, including the Main Market Square, the Wawel Royal Castle, and St. Mary’s Basilica. In the evening, head to a local restaurant for pierogi (traditional Polish dumplings) and Polish vodka.

Day 7Auschwitz Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine

Take a day trip to Auschwitz Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration and extermination camp during World War II.In the afternoon, visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine, which is around 10 miles from Krakow and consists of underground chambers, lakes, and historic exhibits. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner in Krakow before departing the next day.

Day 8Departure

Depart Krakow and return home or continue your travels in Europe.
